This Rare Patek Philippe Ref# 5078P-010 Platinum Minute Repeater Is Complete. Accompanied with its certificate of origin, second case back, swing tag, instruction manual and oversize presentation box. This exceptional example comes from the original owner and is in excellent condition with crisp hallmarks and has never been polished. The 5078P-010 with a black lacquered dial was introduced in 2008 and discontinued in 2016. This example was produced in 2015 and would be considered one of the last examples to leave the factory with a black dial.

This 5078P-010 minute repeater automatic watch features a 38 mm case. This is a platinum example with black lacquered dial and platinum tang buckle. Functions include minute repeater- chime with two gongs activated by a slide piece in the case, and seconds subdial. The watch repeats with a beautiful tone and clarity.

Manufacture of reference 5078 began in 2005 and is the successor of the legendary reference 3979 which was in production from 1989 to 1998.
