This Rare Stainless Patek Philippe Aquanaut Ref 5165A-001 Is Complete. Accompanied with its certificate of origin, instruction manual and presentation box. This 5165A-001 is from the original owner and in excellent condition. The dial and luminescent hands are original and untouched. The watch has been serviced at Patek Philippe in 2019.
The Ref 5165A-001 is a transitional reference made for only a few years and was first introduced in 2007 marking the tenth anniversary of the Aquanaut. It features an updated self-winding 324 SC calibre, though retains the original 38mm Jumbo case diameter, seen in the ref. 5065.
This Patek Philippe Aquanaut 5165A-001 has composite tropical rubber strap with a steel double deployment clasp, and a scratch resistant sapphire crystal. It includes a screw down winding crown with the Patek Philippe Calatrava symbol, and there is a transparent screw-down display case back. The 36mm by 39mm solid two-body cushion-shaped case, bracelet, flat bezel, and curved lugs are polished/brushed. It has a black tropical pattern composite dial with applied luminescent Arabic numerals, luminiscent steel baton hands, square luminous hour indices, and there is a white luminous outer track with second/minute divisions. It has a white luminous center sweep second hand, and an aperture window for the date at 3 o'clock. It's water resistant to 120 meters/380 feet, and it has a 45-hour power reserve at full wind. The 8.5mm thick case, dial, and movement are all signed.
