This Rare Cushion Shaped Patek Philippe Ref# 5020J Is Complete. Accompanied with certificate of origin, Second case back, setting pin, instruction manual, presentation box and hang tag. This early example 5020J was produced in 1995 which would be the second year of production. The watch has been extremely well preserved and in excellent condition. The case has extremely crisp and legible hallmarks.
The 5020J perpetual chronograph manual wind watch, features a 37 mm case. This is a yellow example with silver dial with breguet numerals and a yellow gold deployant buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, day, date, month, moon phase, leap year indicator, 24 hour indicator and chronograph.
Patek Philippe Ref# 5020 was introduced in 1994 as an alternative to the 3970. Because of its unusual shape and fancy breguet numerals , it was soon referred to as the television watch. Production was quickly discontinued after about 10 years due to the lack of interest from the collectors for its unique case. Patek Philippe produced an extremely small number, of about 200 reference 5020's in total of yellow, rose, white gold and platinum.
