Complete, Like New, 2019 Ref. 5170G-010
This Rare Patek Philippe Ref. 5170G-010 White Gold Chronograph Is Complete. Accompanied with its certificate of origin dated 2019, instructional manual and presentation box. This example is like new and comes from the original owner.
The 5170G-010 Chronograph manual wind watch, features a 39 mm case. This is a white gold example with black dial, applied breguet numerals and white gold deployant buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, 30 minute register and chronograph.
The 5170 was released with great in Basel 2010. It was the first mens wristwatch from the company to feature their own in-house designed and manufactured chronograph movement, Cal. CH 29-535 PS. The movement required five years to develop and although based on a traditional column wheel design featured six new patents. The case was very reminiscent of the vintage ref.530 and smaller ref.130 chronographs that were themselves based on the classic Calatrava model. The 5170 was fitted with a silvered dial and the first production chronograph from the company to have a pulsations scale as standard.
Patek Philippe reference 5170 is the successor to reference 5070. This reference has been officially discontinued.
