Accompanied with Its certificate of origin, instruction manual, swing tag, second case back, setting pin, plastic factory bag with bar code, outer shipping box and presentation box. This 5970P-001 comes from the original owner with papers dated 2009. This is the best example available of this extremely sought-after model in today's market.
This Ref. 5970P-001 perpetual calendar chronograph manual wind watch, features a 40 mm case. This is a platinum example with black dial and platinum deployant buckle. Functions include hours, minutes, seconds, month, day, date, moon phase, Leap year indicator, 24 hour indicator and chronograph.
The Ref.5970 was produced in 2005 replacing the smaller diameter ref.3970. Reverted to the case style of a square chronograph pusher with sculpted shoulder more reminiscent of the first series ref.2499. The 5970 in rose gold and in white gold were discontinued in 2007. In 2008 Patek Philippe released the much anticipated yellow gold 5970 then promptly discontinued the model after only 1 year with the release of the platinum version in 2009, the platinum version also being discontinued within a similar time period.
